Tour of Loonse Drunense Duinen from Vught

Nearby you have some beautiful views of the Iron Man. This recreational lake is named after the steam dredging mill that dug the hole in the nineteenth century. The Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park is an oasis of peace between a number of large Brabant cities. The 3,500 m area is also sometimes called the Brabant Sahara: nowhere in Europe are living drifting sands found on such a large scale. Yet this national park consists of more than sand. You drive through dense deciduous and coniferous forests, fresh stream valleys and heathlands that turn beautiful purple in August. On the north side you pass through the beautiful historic hamlet of Giersbergen. Cromvoirt is also a nice authentic village.
