Tour of Renkum and Renkums Beekdal

Your route starts at De Beekdalhoeve. An industrial estate has been removed nearby to create the Renkums Beekdal. Thanks to this ecological connecting zone, animals can safely reach the Rhine from the Veluwe. The bowl shape originated in the penultimate ice age, when meltwater from land ice scoured the valley. Then you will discover Renkum, a town that is more than a thousand years old. For centuries Renkum was a poor farming hamlet. The village and its surroundings look very authentic.
