Tour of Bergen op Zoom and Kalmthoutse Heide

Your route starts at Brasserie De Kar. From here you take a nice tour through the Kalmthoutse Heide. Today you will also discover Bergen op Zoom: city and country, a nice combination! On the edge of Huijbergen you pass the Johanna, a flour mill from 1862. You gradually cycle onto the Brabantse Wal. On the bird-rich Markiezaatsmeer you can take a look at the De Kraaijenberg visitor center. Stop off at Het Strandhuys for lunch! Put your bike aside again and stroll through the picturesque center of Bergen op Zoom, where you will see the fourteenth-century Gevangenpoort. On the way back you will pass through the Wildertse Duintjes: a varied nature reserve with forests, open spaces and shrubs. How quiet it is here!
