Tour of Kalmthoutse Heide, Ossendrecht and Woensdrecht

First you drive to Putte, after which you cycle through the woods to Ossendrecht. The name of this village has nothing to do with the animal, but with a usse. This refers to a dune along the Scheldt. A drecht is a fordable place. Further on you descend the Brabantse Wal for a short while, after which you make a climb to Hoogerheide. Here it is time for a refreshing stop at Het Raedthuys. You cycle through the Kortenhoeff estate to Huijbergen. Finally you cycle through the vast Kalmthoutse Heide, a beautiful nature reserve that you can view well from the lookout tower that is located near the cycle path. Via Kalmthout you cycle back to Brasserie De Kar at your leisure. Time for a nice snack and drink on the cozy terrace.
