Cycling route along Oosterschelde National Park

Want to get some fresh air for a day? Then this is an ideal route, because you take a tour around the Oosterschelde National Park! From Kamperland you first cross the Oosterscheldekering. With the opening of this storm surge barrier, the Delta Works were completed in 1986. On the other side you cycle into Schouwen-Duiveland. You pass the Plompetoren. From the top of this former church tower from 1468 you have a unique view. Further on you cycle along the Schelphoek. This creek area emerged from one of the largest dike breaches during the 1953 flood disaster. Then you drive to Zierikzee, the picturesque old port town. You cycle to Noord-Beveland via the iconic Zeeland Bridge. You pass through the protected village view of Colijnsplaat, further on you will see the inlayer polders characteristic of this island. The route ends at Fietswinkel Kamperland.
