The Esperloop in its splendor

Fancy a walk along a babbling brook today? In addition to the Snelle Loop, another stream flows through our beautiful forest, the Esperloop. The water from the Esperloop comes from the Peelrand fracture. This is a deep geological fault line where water wells up from deep underground. As a result, the water contains a lot of iron, which is where the orange color comes from. But make no mistake, the water is very clean. It is also nice that on the banks of the Esperloop stream valley there are plants, marsh marigolds and black sedge, which are extremely rare in this area.
