Vechtdal walk Esdorp Arriën

Your route starts at Camping De Kleine Wolf. Have a cup of coffee at Brasserie De Wolventuin before you set off! This route takes you through the beautiful Vechtdal. In the low polder you mainly see grasslands, on the es there are still fields here and there. The Vecht still meanders beautifully here! Have a picnic at the closed meander of the Overijsselse Vecht. Like an elongated horseshoe, this stream encloses the Junner Koeland, a grazing area for cows and sometimes also Icelandic horses. You have a nice view from the other side of the water. The route then takes you through the woods and heathland around Arriën. You also visit Esdorp Arriën, where you pass some beautiful nineteenth-century monumental farms.
