Tour of Germany from Twente

This route takes you from Twente through the German Lower Saxony. Only the language difference, the landscape is equally beautiful on both sides of the border with the authentic bocage landscape. And the silence just as deep. Your route starts at Gast Tweewielers. Just before the German border you drive past an unexpected sight: the Mandercircles, the largest landscape art project in the Netherlands. Get off and walk past it! The Hof für Heimatpflege is also a nice place to take a look. Between Itterbeck and Uelsen you drive through quiet forests. In Uelsen you can see beautiful Saxon half-timbered houses and historic churches. In the Bronzezeithof Uelsen you go even further back in time. From the Lookout Tower Hesingen, just before the Dutch border, you have a beautiful view.
