Your route starts at Hotel Restaurant Wapen Van Delden. From here you walk to the picturesque Deldeneresch. It is located on the northern part of the Delden lateral moraine. The cover sand relief here is still reasonably intact and representative. The old hamlet is also beautifully preserved, you can see historic farms such as Ottenhof. When Herman van Twickelo bought the Eysinc in 1347, this estate developed into the manor house Twickel. Since the seventeenth century, almost all farms in Deldeneresch were owned by Landgoed Twickel, the current Twickel Foundation. At the Oelerbeek you pass the Noordmolen, dating from 1325. This was once a double water mill, now only the mill with which oil is pressed from rapeseed and linseed remains. The corn mill that once stood opposite the oil mill was demolished in 1831.
