History along the Rovertsche Leij
With the Archiefrondje Hilvarenbeek Goirle and Hilvarenbeek we follow the course of the Rovertsche Leij, a meandering watercourse that eventually flows to Tilburg as Nieuwe Leij. Around the bank you will discover the Brabant nature (who knows, you might see a kingfisher flying), but you will also find heritage in unexpected places. Such as the Nieuwe Hoef hidden in the woods and the fairytale monuments on the Gorp en Roovert estate. In addition, there are several points on the route where the inner Burgundian person can be spoiled, such as Klooster Nieuwkerk.
