Tour of Brouwershaven, Zierikzee and Renesse

On Schouwen-Duiveland you will find plenty of natural beauty and cultural history. This route combines both. You will notice this at the beginning of your route, when you cycle along the beautiful old Ring of Renesse. The village church dates from the beginning of the sixteenth century. You cycle through the dunes to Scharendijke, further on you come through the picturesque harbour of Brouwershaven. On quiet roads you cycle through the polders to Schuddebeurs, a wooded hamlet. Then you cycle along the Havenkanaal towards Zierikzee. Thanks to the many old buildings you can enjoy a special historical atmosphere in this harbour town. In Kerkwerve you cycle along the Ring, further on you cycle along the edge of the Prunjepolder, a bird-rich nature reserve.
