Description
Discover Twente with its unique scenic landscape and its estates with castles. These cannot be visited and Twickel Castle (Ambt Delden) is open a few days a year. Twente also has real asparagus in season. These are grown and sold in Bentelo and surrounding areas. Asparagus, which of course also includes white wine. Wijngaard Hof van Twente, located on the Sueterseweg, has many award-winning wines. Vleesbedrijf Kleinsma is also located on the Sueterseweg.
There are nice picnic areas everywhere and take a look at the Twentse Boerin farm. She has a moment of rest (self-service) with coffee, tea, chocolate milk, soup, soft drinks... and in the summer months farm ice cream.
