Cycling route: 391027
Provided by: route.nl
Your route starts at Camping de Wildhoeve, where you can first have a cup of coffee at the associated Brasserie de Houtvesterij. Then you cycle through Wezep, Oldebroek and 't Harde. Stop at the De Bovenstreek Farm Museum, where you will get a good idea of farm life in the past. The farm was built in 1753 and has been inhabited by a family for a long time. The layout of the farm still looks the same today as it did back then. Near the towns of Hoornerveen and Wapenveld you cycle through the Zwolle forest. From 1892 to 1960, the Veluwe drinking water was pumped through this forest to Zwolle. The kilometer-long trench where the water pipes used to be located can still be seen.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
