Cycling through the fields near Zwolle

This route takes you through the rural area east of Zwolle. You will drive along the Overijssels Canal for a while. In the heart of Heino you will see another nice sight: an authentic village pump. According to an old legend, the pump only gives water to people with a clear conscience. Just outside the village you pass Landgoed't Rozendael. Further on you pass the Colckhof Estate. Lovers of romantic English gardens can stop here for a beautiful walk along winding paths between rhododendrons and playful water features. The route takes you through the park along the Wijthmenerplas, after which you drive a few kilometers along Overijsselse Vecht. Just before Hoonhorst you pass the Mataram Estate, which is named after an Indonesian sultan. The route ends at Camping Starnbosch.
