Walk Lage Vuchtpolder

First you walk to Teteringen, where you pass a number of monumental Kempen long-gable farms. You will also pass the Sint-Willibrordus Church from 1927. Then you walk into the Lage Vuchtpolder. From the Zwarte Dijk you have a beautiful view over the grasslands. At two points along the road it has been made visible that there were redoubts here during the Eighty Years' War. From junction 41 to 43 you walk along the boots path along the Groote Kruisvaart. This canal was built in the fourteenth century to drain the peat and remove peat. Please note: this boot trail is closed during the breeding season (March 1 to July 1). You can then enter Middenweg just before junction 41. This makes the route one and a half kilometers shorter. The walk ends at Brasserij Hoeveneind.
