Cycling through the Barony of Breda

With this cycle route you will discover the Barony of Breda. First you cycle through the Teteringse Heide and Boswachterij Dorst. Here you mainly drive past wonderfully scented conifers. Via Sint-Annabosch you drive to the Strijbeekse Heide. Here you will find a mix of coniferous forest, fens and heathland. And not to forget a refreshing silence. From junction 43 you cycle quite a bit downstream along the Mark. From the saddle you have a beautiful view over grasslands and the rippling water. Around the junction you cycle through the Mastbos, a forest that was planted in the sixteenth century on the then heathland. Just past junction 83 you drive past the Markt in Ginneken, one of the most atmospheric places in Breda. The route ends with a terrace at Brasserij Hoeveneind.
