Tour of Weerribben and Giethoorn

In the Kop van Overijssel you will discover a mix of unique natural beauty and historical pictures. First you drive to Oldemarkt. At the end of the marina you see the Veerhuis, a white building from 1821. In the Hoofdstraat you pass several beautiful nineteenth-century buildings. Then you cycle into the Weerribben. On the Hoogeweg you see several nineteenth-century monumental farm workers' houses. The next hotspot on your route is Giethoorn, also called the Venice of the North. Here you see many monumental farms that are located on islands. Along the edge of the Wieden you cycle back into the Weerribben. You pass Kalenberg, a sailing village that was only accessible by boat until the end of the fifties. Along the Linde you cycle back to Paviljoen Driewegsluis. Time for a terrace.
