Highlights of the Sallandse Heuvelrug Tour

This route takes you from Lorkeers Brood banket - Lunchroom along the highlights of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. At Buitencentrum Sallandse Heuvelrug here you can learn more about the national park. Then you cross the heath of the park to Haarle, where you cycle past a beautiful sheepfold. You cross to the Regge and pass the former manor Egede, of which the eighteenth-century farmhouse still remains. Also take a look at the Kokhuusie at Boerderij De Brummel. Kokhuusies are typical for this region. This is where the larger cooking work was done, but the washing was also done here on the large pot-bellied stove. At Landgoed Schuilenburg you can experience the past on the redesigned castle grounds, beautifully situated in the valley of the Regge.
