Round trip Haarler- and Noetselerberg

Your route starts at Restaurant De Budde in Nijverdal. From here you can walk straight into the national park. The landscape of the Sallandse Heuvelrug was formed 200,000 years ago by glaciers from Scandinavia. The ridge was once covered with heather, but now there are also forests to prevent sand drifts. The very old juniper bushes are beautiful, just like the whimsical old oaks. One of the two remaining groups of grouse in the Netherlands still lives in this area. On the Sallandse Heuvelrug it is occasionally a bit of a climb. For example, the Noetselerberg is 60 meters high, the Haarlerberg 63 meters. But the views of the beautiful surroundings are a nice reward for your effort. In good weather you can even see Zwolle from the Noetselerberg viewpoint!
