With this route you will discover the rich nature and culture between Boxtel and Den Bosch. First you cycle to Esch. Further on you will pass two connected and wooded estates: Jagershagen and Sparrendaal. A little later you cycle through the forests on the edge of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. Along the leafy canal you cycle to Fort Isabella, a defensive structure that originally dates from 1618. From 1917 to 1993 the Isabella barracks were located here. The next historical hotspot is the old city centre of Den Bosch. Here you can admire the St. John's Cathedral, among other things. Through the Bossche Broek nature reserve you cycle to Landgoed Haanwijk. There you will find a country house and old farms, stately trees and historical dikes.
