Cycling along cities and dikes. You can visit the cities of IJlst, Franeker and Harlingen, but the route mainly takes you along old dikes through the Frisian landscape. Friesland originated from water and by immersing yourself in the dikes, the old land and the new land, your bike ride is more than just cycling a distance. Be surprised by the beautiful meadow landscape, the rich culture, the beautiful views. The Slachtedyk is a round of about 100 kilometers and is suitable for the trained cyclist who wants to experience an exciting day (-: Good luck, lots of cycling fun and a lot of experience!
