along the ring canal of the Heerhugowaard

The first half of the route goes along the Schermerringvaart and the Heerhugowaard ring canal. In the meantime, pass the 3 ironing mills of Oterleek and the otter ironing mill. At Heerhugowaard it goes through the city of the sun, a new urban area in the south of Heerhugowaard. Then through the Waarderwoud forest area. At the polder hensbroek mill it goes again along the ring canal of the Heerhugowaard and along the Schermerringvaart back to the starting point.
