Tour of Springendal and Ootmarsum

This route takes you through the Twente scenic landscape. You drive to Geesteren, a little later you cycle through the Manderheide nature reserve. Just before junction 32 you pass the Molen van Frans, a water mill built in the early 1700s. Further on you drive through the Springendal. This forest is known for its springs and streams, it is also called the'Garden of the Netherlands\\\'. Ootmarsum is the next attraction on your route. In the picturesque center you can feel the atmosphere of a bygone era. Get off here and take a leisurely look at all those beautiful buildings. Via the Vasserheide you drive to the Herinckhave, a historic spot where you see a manor and old mill. Via Albergen you drive back to B&B Sagenland & Theehuis Het Zoete Zusje.
