Tour of Springendal and Ootmarsum

This route takes you through the Twente coulisselandschap. You drive to Geesteren, a little later you cycle through the nature reserve de Manderheide. Just before junction 32 you pass the Molen van Frans, a water mill that was built in the early 1700s. Further on you cycle through the Springendal. This forest is known for its springs and streams, it is also called the 'Garden of the Netherlands'. Ootmarsum is the next attraction on your route. In the picturesque center you can taste the atmosphere of times gone by. Get off here to take a look at all those beautiful buildings at your leisure. Via the Vasserheide you drive to the Herinckhave, a historic place where you see a manor house and old mill. Via Albergen you drive back to B&B Sagenland/De Huiskamer van Sagenland.
