Tour of Geertruidenberg, Oosterhout and Made

From Made you quickly enter the polders. You cross the Amertak, a waterway that connects the Wilhelminakanaal with the Amer. Further on you drive through Geertruidenberg. Don't do this too quickly, because there are many monumental buildings here. Feel free to get off your bike to soak up the historical atmosphere. You cross the river De Donge, from junction 93 you drive along the Kromgat, a creek that was created after the St. Elizabeth's flood in 1421. In Oosterhout you pass the tower ruins of Kasteel Strijen, further on you can take a look at Kasteel Limburg. At the Heuvel you see many beautiful buildings, after which you pass the Hoop Doet Leven mill in Den Hout. After getting off your bike you can enjoy an ice cream at IJssalon Maystro Made.
