Tour of Lage Zwaluwe, Drimmelen and Made

North of Made it is beautiful cycling through a wide landscape. You drive here on quiet roads through surprisingly nice villages. First you come through Wagenberg. Here you pass some old farms, you also pass the Sint-Gummarus church from 1904. Further on you pass through Hooge Zwaluwe and Lage Zwaluwe. In both villages you can taste the atmosphere of a bygone era thanks to the many beautiful monumental buildings. At junction 63 you will pass the Gat van Den Ham, a creek that originated during the Sint-Elisabeth flood of 1421. Walk up the dike for a beautiful view over the Amer. Drimmelen is another beautiful place to discover. You drive back to Made along the Amertak. At IJssalon Maystro Made you can enjoy something delicious.
