Cycling route: 3859013

Around Nuenen there are still beautiful places that played a role in the life of Vincent van Gogh. Just below Nuenen you cycle past the seventeenth-century Collse Molen. Van Gogh made a painting of this building in 1884. From junction 99 you cycle along the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path. Here fluorescent stars have been incorporated into the asphalt as a tribute to The Starry Night, a world-famous work by Van Gogh. Further on you cycle through the Nuenens Broek, a nature reserve where poplars were planted in the 1930s. At junction 78 you see the Roosdonck, a round belt mill from 1884. Van Gogh drew this mill no less than seven times. In Nuenen itself you cycle past the Van Gogh church and the old home of the painter.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
