Walking through Nuenen and Gerwen

This walking route starts from one of the most beautiful spots in Nuenen: Park Nuenen. This park enjoys a protected village view, including the monumental Sint-Clemenskerk from 1871. On the north side of Nuenen you walk along the edge of the Nuenens Broek, a former swamp where poplars now grow. As an extension of the path, you walk through a piece of farmland that would not have looked out of place in a painting by Vincent van Gogh. Arriving in the village of Gerwen you can, among other things, take a look at the village church. This is also called Saint Clemens Church, the oldest part dates from the fifteenth century. Back in Nuenen you walk past the Van Gogh church and, on the Berg, past his former home. The route ends at Parkhotel & Brasserie Auberge Vincent.
