Walk through the Roekelse Bos

Want to take a walk to clear your mind? Then this is an ideal walking route. Make sure you have sturdy shoes, because you only walk on unpaved paths. First you walk along the edge of the Roekelse Bos. After a while you turn left and follow the Eeskooterpad: a clog route. The path leads you past meadows and fields. With a bit of luck you will see a buzzard or other bird of prey skimming by. Further on you enter the Roekelse Bos. A relatively quiet nature reserve where you have a chance to spot a deer or red deer. You mainly walk here between fragrant conifers, although you will also see oaks, birches and beeches. You can also enjoy the tranquility of the Veluwe at Landgoed Oud Beekdal.
