Cycling through the woods between Otterlo and Ede

Between Otterlo and Ede you take a trip that almost exclusively follows cycle paths through the forest. Ideal for going out with the kids. First you drive through the Roekelse forest. This nature reserve used to be an estate, which is clearly visible in the many straight avenues. Then you cycle along the edges of the Mosselse Veld. Just past junction 83 there is a lookout tower along the path to get a good look at this open area of grass and heathland. You drive through a mix of meadows and deciduous and coniferous forests to the Edese Heide. Enjoy the views before you cycle to Landgoed de Valouwe. It is wonderfully peaceful here to cycle through the woods. The route ends at Oud Beekdal Estate.
