Cycling through the woods around Groesbeek

You can take a cycling tour around Groesbeek that takes you through vast forests and along the Maas. First you cycle to the Horst. Here you drive through a vast landscape of meadows and fields. A little later you cross the border with Germany and enter the Reichswald. This forest consists mainly of deciduous trees, such as beech and pedunculate oak. Back in the Netherlands you drive through Plasmolen. You cycle further along the Maas on a quiet road. Here you have a beautiful view of the rippling water and the Nijmegen moraine. You will also pass through Mook, the northernmost town in the province of Limburg. The route then takes you through the extensive forest surrounding Dekkerswald, a former sanatorium. Back at De Heksendans it is time for a delicious meal.
