Cycling through the forests around Groesbeek

Around Groesbeek you will make a cycling tour that takes you through vast forests and along the Maas. First you cycle to the Horst. Here you cycle through a wide landscape of meadows and fields. A little later you cross the border with Germany and enter the Reichswald. This forest consists mainly of deciduous trees, such as beeches and summer oaks. Back in the Netherlands you cycle through Plasmolen. On a quiet road you cycle further along the Maas. Here you have a beautiful view over the rippling water and the Nijmegen moraine. You also pass through Mook, the northernmost town in the province of Limburg. The route then takes you through the vast forest around Dekkerswald, a former sanatorium. Back at De Heksendans it is time for a delicious meal.
