Cycling through the border region of South Limburg

This route takes you through three countries in one day. So don't forget your passport. First, you'll cycle through picturesque Mechelen. In the hills, you'll enjoy the natural beauty. You'll see a mosaic of forests, meadows, and fields. South of Bocholtz, you'll cross Germany to the border village of Oud-Lemiers. Here you'll see, among other things, the magnificent 12th-century St. Catherine's Chapel. After a short trip through Vaals, you'll cycle through Germany to the Three-Country Point. You'll continue through the Belgian Voer region. Here, you'll find many charming villages along the way, such as Sippenaeken. Just before Slenaken, you'll cross the border again. The route leads you through Heijenrath, after which you descend via Epen into the beautiful Geul Valley.
