Walk Geulle aan de Maas

Geulle aan de Maas is a village where the Geul river once flowed into the Maas. Soon after departure you will walk past Geulle Castle. Only the outer bailey remains of the original medieval castle. A little further on you walk through the heart of the village. Here you will see, among other things, the St. Martin's Church and some monumental buildings. You walk along a car-free road past meadows and fields. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for a day of relaxation. You go north again over the dike along the Maas. Here you have a beautiful view of the rippling water and the surroundings. You walk along the edge of the village, after which you make a shortcut along the meadows and back along the path along the Juliana Canal.
