The West Frisian landscape around Obdam

Cycle through small towns such as Obdam, Opmeer and Oude Niedorp and enjoy the peace and quiet. The starting point of this cycle route is Zorgcafe t Koetje in Obdam. From here you cycle between agricultural fields and meadows to Opmeer and Hoogwoud. You can enjoy canoeing in this area. If you like water and fancy a break from cycling, then a water activity in this area is highly recommended. Another village you cycle through is Oude Niedorp. The eye-catcher of this village is Molen de Hoop, which was built in 1641. The mill is located in an open landscape and therefore you can see the mill from miles away. Nowadays the mill is used as a training mill to train volunteer millers.
