Explore the Hanseatic city of Elburg

Elburg is a centuries-old prosperous Hanseatic city with a port. Take a walk through the city center and surrounding areas and be surprised by everything around you. This route takes you through the city and the harbor and along the Drontermeer. The route starts at Rederij Randmeer. Then you walk into the center of Elburg to get an ice cream at IJssalon Casa Piccola. From here you can walk a bit along the Drontermeer and through the rural area of Elburg. This route takes you outside Elburg past the Old Putten Estate. This estate has been in the hands of the French Rambonnet family since 1878. The estate consists of a park forest with special flora and fauna and a stream. The current country estate was built on the foundations of that castle.
