Crib Walk Berg & Terblijt

takes you past ten 'cribs' (nativity scenes and Christmas decorations) in Berg and the surrounding area. The walk starts at the monumental Monulphus and Gondulphus church in Berg and takes you through the village as well as the beautiful surrounding nature. During the walk you will pass various sights such as the Rock Dwellings in the Geulhemmerberg and the centuries-old Geulhemmermolen . The various catering establishments along the route offer you, wrapped in Christmas atmosphere, a cozy place to take a break.

• Distance: the basic walk of 4 km can be walked in an hour. The route can be extended with an extra loop through Terblijt where you will encounter the smallest nativity scene of the route!
• The route is a circular walk and can be walked in both directions. A small part of the route is unpaved. Sturdy (walking) shoes are recommended.
• Abbreviation: are you carrying prams, wheelchairs or short legs? Then shorten the route by walking from crib 3 directly to crib 7 and 6. You will then skip the descent via the Geulhemmerberg and also the unpaved part.
• Starting point and parking: at the church in Berg (navigation: Monulphusplein 1). Extra parking spaces behind the church (navigation: Valkenburgerstraat 59)
