Description
This short tour also gives you the opportunity to explore Elburg in addition to the Ampies Berg.
This place was given a ring wall in 1396 and Oldebroek became subservient to Elburg. This gave the residents of Oldebroek the opportunity to secure property within the walls of the Elburg fortress in the event of enemy attacks. (Text from the booklet Camping'de Lijsterbes\\\'.) You will also pass A.Vogeltuinen, on the Eperweg, on the Zwaluwenburg Estate with its castle. You can also go here with a covered wagon or carriage.
