Description
In the German-Dutch border area near Aalten you can enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility at your leisure. First you drive a bit through the Wooldse Veen. You cross the border, after which you cycle past fields, meadows and small forest plots in Germany. Border marker 171 is located at junction 72. This was placed in 1766 to mark the border between Munster and Gelre. On the sides of the pole you can see the weapons of both areas. On the edge of the old farm landscape Het Loohuis you can stop for a snack and drink at the cozy Suzie\\\'s Farm. The Meenkmolen, a corn mill from 1851, is located in the hamlet of Miste. Just before junction 24 you cycle past the Kotmans Estate, via the hamlet of Woold you drive back to the starting point.
