Description

Cycling in Flevoland.

Almere was once called 'the Gooi for the common man'. It was because nowadays houses are being built in all price ranges. But the green character, which is so characteristic of the Gooi, is and remains the hallmark of Almere. Thanks to the nutritious sea clay, in which all trees and shrubs are rooted, the greenery quickly matures considerably. So much so that many do not realize that many of the numerous forest and nature reserves were designed and created by humans. The route is for sale at the ANWB. Tip: bicycles can be rented at the tourist office in Almere.
