Description
The route starts at the TOP in Blokzijl, a small but beautiful old town from where you go to the bicycle ferry to Jonen. From there you take a beautiful cycle path to Dwarsgracht. Via the Thijssengracht and along the Giethoornsemeer it goes to Wetering and from there to Kalenberg.
In Kalenberg you can grab a terrace at \\\'t Lokaal near the drawbridge and rent a boat to explore the Weerribben.
From Kalenberg it goes back to Blokzijl via the Netherlands.
It is a trip along water and beautiful villages. In spring and summer you have a good chance of seeing storks.
