In the Galgenberg nature reserve, the cycle path leads you through Scots pines and Norway spruces. The village of Vlierden provides a break from nature. You can see here, among other things, the Johanna-Elisabeth. This corn mill from 1844 is one of the few bottle-shaped mills in the Netherlands. A little later you enter the coniferous forest of the Brouwhuissche Heide. Juniper bushes also grow there, because of their whimsical shape you can mistake them for ghosts on a foggy morning with a little imagination. The neighboring villages of Baken and Milheeze both have a Sint-Willibrord church. The example in Bakel dates from the sixteenth century, but has been renovated a number of times over the years. In the outskirts of Deurne you can cycle carefree towards the Deurnesche Peel. At Natuurpoort de Peel you can enjoy a drink and snack in a cozy atmosphere.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
