In the Galgenberg nature reserve, the cycle path takes you through Scots pine and Norway spruce. The village of Vlierden provides a break from nature. Here you will see, among other things, the Johanna-Elisabeth. This flour mill from 1844 is one of the few bottle-shaped mills in the Netherlands. A little later you enter the coniferous forest of the Brouwhuissche Heide. Juniper bushes also grow there; due to their irregular shape, you can, with a little imagination, mistake them for ghosts on a foggy morning. The neighboring villages of Baken and Milheeze both have a St. Willibrordus church. The copy in Bakel dates from the sixteenth century, but has been renovated several times over time. In the countryside of Deurne you can cycle carefree towards the Deurnesche Peel. At Natuurpoort de Peel you can enjoy a drink and snack in a cozy atmosphere.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
