Renkum's stream valley
On the Edese and Ginkelse heaths you have the chance to come face to face with the herd of Veluwe Heide sheep that graze here. In the early 1950s, steps were taken to save this breed from extinction - with success. At Renkum you drive through an ancient stream valley. The wheels of water mills once turned here. Nowadays, cyclists like to spin their pedals and wheels to enjoy this rolling nature reserve.
Deelense Field
From the cycle path you have beautiful views over the heath and fens of the Deelense Veld. There is a good chance that in addition to birds of prey, you will also see a glider circling through the sky. At Hoenderloseweg 10 you can visit Museum Deelen during the weekend where you can learn more about the history of the local air base.
