Cycling route Hoog Buurlo, Apeldoorn and Hoenderloo

This route offers a wonderful day of cycling in the Veluwe region. From Hoenderloo, you'll enter the vast forests. Coniferous and deciduous forests, heathlands: you'll enjoy many kilometers of beautiful nature. Tucked away in the Ugchelse Bos, you'll find an old farming settlement: Hoog-Buurlo. It feels like you've cycled back a few centuries. Stop for a moment to soak up the unique atmosphere. Cycle through the forests to Apeldoorn. You'll see many beautiful monumental buildings here, such as the Grote Kerk (Great Church) from 1892 and several villas bordering Oranjepark. Via Ugchelen, you'll return to the forest. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh air. At De Proeftuin Hoenderloo, you're welcome to play a round of minigolf and relax on the terrace.
