Walk Mook and Mookerheide

For a walking route through the Limburg hills you do not always have to go south. It is also nice to walk through the rolling forests around Mook in North Limburg. You walk along an extension of the Mookerplas to Mook, after which you climb to the forests of Herrendal. It is beautiful to walk here along fields and deciduous and coniferous forests. A little later you walk onto the Mookerheide. A large part of the original heath has developed into forest area. You have a beautiful view of it from the tower at junction 38. There was once a defense structure around the tower: the Mookerschans. At junction 30 you cross the heathland remnant. At the end of the path is a natural viewpoint. The route ends at Hip & Cozy.
