Parking near Junction 34 (start-end point) of this route. Nice route (approx. 75 km) on quiet roads through the landscape of the Meuse between the river and the city of Weert.

The route takes you past farmlands, grass nurseries, but also through forests (paved roads) and many nice small villages. You drive through the suburbs of Weert. Along the way there are more than enough places to rest on a bench (whether or not at one of the many crossroads) or terrace.

You cycle past various windmills in this special cross-border Limburg landscape.

You cycle through the white (cosy and authentic) town of Thorn.
After about 35 km you will pass the "de Schuttershoeve" in Weert. If you cycle electrically, there may also be sufficient charging points here.

The route is largely on paved roads. Some parts of the route are unpaved but very passable. The unpaved parts total approximately 4 to 5 km of the total route.
