Description
Discover nature, peace and space in the Veluwezoom. The Veluwezoom is the oldest Dutch national park. With 5,000 hectares, it is one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in the Netherlands. Enjoy the forests and heathlands, visit the Rheden sheep herd and discover at the visitor center what else the Veluwezoom has to offer. On the way back to Spankeren, take a look at the Geldersche Toren. This old Roman border tower is currently privately inhabited and is not accessible to the public. But it can't hurt to take a look.
