Your route starts at the Rosephoeve, from here you can drive straight to the Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen. This used to be a vast heathland area. From the early 1800s, many hectares of Scots pine were planted for mining and shipbuilding. While cycling you will see some picturesque fens. You also drive across the Kampina, a nature reserve of quiet forests and a large heathland. Nearby you will discover the fourteenth-century Nemerlaer castle. The picturesque town of Oirschot has more than 300 monuments. This place in the rich area of the Brabantsche Kempen has a protected villagescape. Enjoy a moment of peace and quiet on the market square. You cycle further via the private De Baest Estate. A beautiful setting, in which you mainly see birches and pedunculate oaks.
