Tour of Mark and Annabosch

Your route starts at B&B Wilgenhart. From here you cross to the river De Mark. The natural meandering course of the Mark has been restored about 15 years ago, which has improved the fish stock in the Mark. Get off for a moment to enjoy the view from the bridge near the Mastbos near Ulvenhout. The Mastbos dates back to the sixteenth century. You will see stately beech avenues, but also conifers. The forest was managed for hunting and, just like the Sint-Anna forest that you cycle through a little later, for timber yield. Both forests are extremely valuable, like natural museum pieces. You also cycle through the Ulvenhoutse Bos, with its old sessile oaks and beech trees. A beautiful route in the summer, enjoy cycling in the shade along the water!
