Description
When you cycle through the beautiful Peel region, you see the result of centuries of toil. There used to be a raised moor area of 30,000 hectares here. The landscape now consists of a mix of arable and grasslands and quiet nature reserves. Soon after you get on your bike, you will pass through Grashoek. Then you drive to the authentic village of Helenaveen. You then cycle between the Mariapeel (on the right, located in Limburg) and the Deurnsche Peel (which is located in Brabant). It is wonderfully quiet in the woods of the Steegberg. Just above Maasbree you drive through a well-preserved ash landscape with old fields and many hedges, wooded banks and bushes. To enjoy!
