Walking along the Kromme Mijdrecht

This walking route takes you to the dike along the rippling water of the Kromme Mijdrecht. This river flows through the low-lying polder landscape on the border of Utrecht and South Holland. You walk straight through the polder to it and back. Wonderfully quiet and green! You don't have to worry about getting lost or missing roads, because you just follow the walking route network here. On the border of Wilnis and Mijdrecht you pass St. John the Baptist, a church from 1876. The adjacent parsonage is also a monument. In Wilnis itself you can take a stroll through the Speelwoud.
