Castle route Borne and Hengelo

In the former fortified town of Delden you will discover beautiful remains of the past. From the Langestraat, for example, take a look at De Kroon (Markt 1), a monumental house from 1764. Get off at the Twickel Estate. The farms that belong to the estate can be recognized by their white shutters with black edges. The estate also has a castle, the oldest parts of which date from the mid-sixteenth century. The Noordmolen from 1325 is located on the Oelerbeek.
