Description
Between Ghent and Deinze, the picturesque Lys region beckons with a landscape that rightly inspired many painters. Welcome to the most artistic East Flemish region, with its nature reserves, idyllic villages and cozy terraces.
This varied cycling route goes from paved roads to unpaved roads. Ghent is a real cycling city where everything has been done to give priority to cycling.
At 62 and 63 you can cross the Leie with a ferry. Please note that it does not operate between 12:00 and 13:00. You can also take a detour, this journey is 10 minutes, but definitely worth it.
This route includes a number of sections, such as along the railway, where you can pedal along.
